About Life Detective
Our lives have grown complicated and stressful. We are overwhelmed in a “TMI” world. Using technological advances which enable speedy communications and surveillance of our every move, big corporations, big government and big media seek our attention and “control” the way we spend, act, and think.
Life Detective seeks to empower individuals to simplify, control and understand important life “stuff”. How?
- Life Detective will simplify big issues from the perspective of an everyday citizen, seeking to avoid the misinformation fed through social media algorithms and counter traditional media elitist bias.
- Life Detective will tell stories and discuss real-life experiences, providing insights on the forces we cannot see, whether spiritual or perhaps beyond current human comprehension.
- Of course, since living a full day involves not just thinking and crying, Life Detective will seek to interject some humor along the way.
Later, Life Detective will examine various aspects of American life, from how we are monitored online to public education to the inspirational lives of famous people to “just regular people”. Please provide your thoughts and guidance, and just a bit of your attention – I will do all I can to make it worth your while.
Andrew Galeziowski
Founder & Chief Detective
What are my qualifications to do this job?
- Over 50 years of living.
- My “common person”, lower middle-class youth included: penny-pinching parents who grew up during the Depression and World War II; the youngest of six children cramped in a 1150 square foot, 3-bedroom home; no private schools, no summer camps; no car at 16 years old.
- I worked through my college years in “regular guy” jobs: roofing, pumping gas, working at hotels, a Grey Line tour guide and Sears warehouse clerk.
- I studied History at the University of Buffalo and Law at Syracuse University.
- Professionally, I spent over 15 years practicing immigration law, but also worked as a hotel manager and a consultant/project manager for a global hotel company. My education allowed me to infiltrate law firms and corporations to learn how “the other half” lives . . . and thinks!
- I have lived in Western New York (Niagara Falls/Buffalo), Atlanta, and now Bradenton, Florida.
My education and work experience taught me that I am not very comfortable in the world of corporate/government/elitist BS. On the flip side, my education and professional experience taught me how to research, write and analyze information. So, I am setting out to serve the common person, to decode or bypass the steady diet of misinformation we now receive. Moreover, I want to investigate the things we don’t hear about, including the lives of everyday people, and contribute to our common understanding of this thing called “life”.
